Cabofor ® (PC)

Polycarbonate Compound
Cabofor® is the trade name of the Polycarbonate Compounds (PC) manufactured by SO.F.TER.
The range includes also reinforced and flame-retarded materials (UL94 V0).
Cabofor® is available in many viscosity grades and in a wide choice of colours.
The main characteristics of the Cabofor® range are:
  • Excellent dimensional stability
  • Excellent transparency and aesthetical properties
  • Excellent impact resistance.
E&E, small household appliances, sport equipment
Cabofor® is a resin for injection moulding.

The following temperature settings are recommended when processing standard materials:
  • Cylinder temperature 250-290°C
  • Mould temperature 90-110°C
  • Drying 3h@120°C
Cabofor® is a fully recyclable material and can be reused after regrinding. The user shall always verify that the compound obtained by mixing virgin and reground material is suitable for the specific application and that its properties meet the requirements.
This product should be stored in a covered facility and kept away from moisture and heat.
